The Department of Tourism has contracted HS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS to conduct an impact evaluation of COVID-19 on the tourism sector.
Letter of appointment:
The evaluation aims to determine the extent to which tourism enterprises and workers in the tourism sector have been affected by restrictions due to the pandemic. Furthermore, the evaluation will assess the extent to which enterprises were aware of the financial support being provided in the country by both public and private institutions and how they used the financial assistance received. The outcomes of the impact evaluation will assist the department in developing appropriate strategies, interventions and plans that will seek to support tourism enterprises, especially small, micro and medium enterprises.
