Ongoing work into noise pollution in Mbombela

We will be meeting with all stakeholders during the  coming days, including SAPS, Mbombela Enforcement, Liquor Board and Liquor Compliance Officers, Dept of Safety, Security and Community Liaison, to come to a workable solution on dealing with noise once and for all.  Some solutions will be to change the operating times as allowed on the Liquor Licences, introducing a whatsapp line to send location pins of where noise is heard, the role of SAPS, etc.  We have discovered that noise is amplified and sometimes distorted in our beautiful mountains around the city and it is hard to pin-point the origin of the noise, hence the introduction of the whatsapp line.  We will report on this next week.
