Murray Biesenbach and Badenhorst trading as MHold was formed to encompass all the activities that developed over time out of the original MBB Consulting Engineering practice. The joining of forces between MBB Consulting Engineers and ACER (Africa) environmental management consultants in April 1994, initiated the formation of MHold. The expansion of activities into Africa resulted in the establishment of several autonomous companies in different countries. The following diagram indicates the group structure. The strategy with the formation of MBB Services International is to align and combine business forces to make a more meaningful and greater contribution to development in Southern Africa and to be an active private sector partner in the creation of prosperity for all. The companies in the Group subscribe to the Government of South Africa’s policies of equitable employment and affirmative action and have policies implemented to drive the action plans.
