Massive delays at OR Tambo

SATSA has confirmed with the Port Health Authority that there is a backlog in testing at OR Tambo International Airport. As such, the officially communicated turnaround time for results of 4-6 hours is in fact actually between 24-48 hours.

Port Health confirms this is due to the recent spike in infections and the fact that the general public are now also using these facilities.

If you have travellers who are hoping to use the service at OR Tambo International Airport, please advise them to expect a turnaround time of between 24 and 48 hours.
