KLCBT appeals for reduction of rates and taxes for guest houses

KLCBT President, Mr Oupa Pilane, requested the MECs of Local Economic Development and Tourism and COGTA, to assist in the temporary reduction of rates and taxes of guest houses.  They currently pay commercial rates which is very high, and the request is to have it reduced to residential rates to help these business survive through very lean times.
