Kruger Lowveld Tourism Concerned about non-compliance to Covid-19 Regulations

The Kruger Lowveld Tourism has learned with concern that some of the tourism establishments and their patrons are not adhering to the Covid -19 regulations.

“We fully understand that business have taken a knock and would do anything to recover their losses to keep afloat including contravening the regulations.  The implications are that people are going to be infected resulting in our area being identified as a hotspot which will have dire consequences on all businesses.

We would like to call on all businesses to act responsibly. We must never be driven by profits to the detriment of all our people who may get infected.

We must regulate ourselves as we do not want to be a subject law enforcement to suspend our operations”, said Oupa Pilane- Chairperson Of Kruger Lowveld Tourism.

KLT together with the Safety cluster and the department of health will randomly visit establishments to assist them with compliance.
