KLCBT to apply Covid-19 grants to pothole repairs and beautification

During lockdown of 2020, KLCBT had to open doors for future bookings,                postponement of bookings and information, and provided up to date help and           information on lockdown rules and funding assistance to member.  As a result we had to be open in full capacity, but with Zero income.  As a non-profit entity we really had no reserves to do so and nobody knew how long it would last.  During the time, we           approached our members to assist us with donations to carry us until such time as we could earn an income again.  We received R380 000 in total from members in Nelspruit and we will forever be grateful, as this enabled us to keep our doors open.  We have since been blessed with revenue above our            expectations, and the board decided to return these funds to our community in the form of funding for     pothole repairs and beautification.  Our Mbombela will manage disbursement of the funds.  Thank you!
