Follow up meeting with Mayor and MM and attending MPac

After our initial introduction with the Mayor of City of Mbombela in December, we had a follow-up meeting with her and the       Municipal Manager to discuss detailed proposals and          concerns.  They suggested that we have a meeting every 3 months with the mayor and a       technical meeting in between to discuss the finer details of each of the initiatives and interventions.  We look  forward to the first engagement this week.  We also gave input in the Mbombela Public Accounting Committee last week, following the          unacceptable results of the annual report, which stated that the City only achieved 52% achievement which is an average performance.  More importantly, they achieved only 42% of their service delivery targets and 0% of their  Local Economic Development Targets.  They do however excel at public participation, with a brilliant 100%.  We will address the detail of these in future technical meetings, by reaching out to help them.
