Announcing Prof David Mabunda, KLCBT President

It is official, during the first meeting of our newly    elected board, Prof David Mabunda was unanimously elected as KLCBT’s president for a term of two years.  Mabunda will be sworn in during an inauguration    ceremony that is taking place on  20 June 2023 at 16h00 at the         Emnotweni Arena.  Members can book to attend this formal event at a cost of R200 per person.  Prof   Mabunda is well-known as former CEO of SANParks, MD at Halls Properties and most recently the Chair of Mpumalanga University.  KLCBT is deeply honoured to have him at the helm of the organization for the next term.  Unfortunately we bid a sad farewell to outgoing    president, Sandra Jacobs who served during one of the toughest terms in the history of the           organization.  KLCBT’s constitution does not allow for a president to sit for more than one consecutive term.  She  remains as board member in her capacity as          immediate past president.  Thank you Sandra, for your incredible work and a lasting legacy you continue to build in our organization as one of our original seven founding members.  Mabunda and Jacobs will be   interviewed on Radio Laeveld on Wednesday 10h30.
