About cable theft…

This has become a regular issue now around Mbombela and the rest of the Lowveld.  We were very happy to see the arrest of 33 people in the eMalahleni area, including some guards working for Eskom, in connection with cable theft.  A special unit has been assembled (Eskom security, SAPS and Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Unit) to root out this problem which led to these arrests.  Hope it’s our turn soon…
