Young Women Agribusiness Entrepreneurs Fellows Program (in the USA)

The program is sponsored by the US Government and invites young South African ladies to apply for this fellows program which will develop their leadership capacity and professional skills through a fully funded five-week fellowship program in the US!

Women who are either agribusiness entrepreneurs or social innovators, or individuals working to increase women’s economic engagement in the agricultural sector, are invited to apply before 16 February 2024.

The program will take place next year from 10 May to 16 June.

Eligibility criteria is very simple: 

Ages 25—40, SA Citizen, living and working in South Africa, fluent in English, two years experience, leadership skills and a commitment to community development, your employer’s support to participate, or if self-employed, the recommendation from local authorities, etc.

Part 1 will be a nine-month virtual        program before travelling to Michigan for the 5-week fellow program.
