Gorgeous new entrances for three of our towns

Thank you to Ehlanzeni District Municipality and the folks from the towns who have contributed their time and some of the costs, we have created three brand new entrances for the towns of Barberton (the third entrance to Emjindini), Sabie and Hazyview.  Thank you so much, it is gorgeous!

Electricity interruption for 2 days for West Acres area (7-8 Jan)

Electricity supply will be interrupted in West Acres substation (Block 14), which includes West Acres, the Rest, Sonheuwel, Stone henge, Geelhout and surrounding areas.  Unfortunately the some key    installations will also be affected, i.e. Macadamia Hospital (MCare), TUT, SANBS, Medi-Clinic, Bergflam, Laeveld Laerskool, Nelspruit Primary, Lowveld High and Herfsakker, in order to allow the  installation of new switchgear and to do maintenance work on their substation equipment.  The         interruption will be from 09h00 on Tuesday 7 January until 17h00 on the 8th of January (for 2 days).  Please make all possible preparations to lessen the effect on your household or business.

Here are some tips:

· Charge all batteries for battery operated lights and equipment, get candles or lamps

· Ensure candles / lamps are placed where they cannot be knocked over or cause fire

· Ensure you have sufficient supply of gas, fire wood, etc to cook with

· Freeze some 2litre plastic bottles with water, then put them all around your refrigerator to keep your food cool for the duration of the period

· Do not open your freezer at all, try not to open the fridge too much
