Webinar: The SA Travel Declaration System

We finally have a date with SARS. They are inviting the tourism industry to a webinar on the South African Traveller Declaration System.

SARS Customs intends on running a pilot project at King Shaka International Airport towards the end of November 2022, which will eventually be implemented at all South African airports.

The aim of the webinar is to educate stakeholders and travellers about this simple and modernised system developed for travellers to declare goods, currency, and others before embarking on air travel to or from South Africa.   

It will afford SARS the opportunity to provide clarity on the traveller declaration process by equipping stakeholders, traders and travellers with the relevant information and insight required to make it easy for them to comply with their tax and customs obligations.
