We have the most beautiful airport in the world!

Our tiny Skukuza Airport within the Kruger National Park, has been named as the most beautiful airport in the world by Forbes!  The airport’s history dates back to 1959, but was reopened for scheduled commercial flights on 2 June 2014.  This enabled the airport to handle larger aircraft for daily flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The airport is truly beautiful and welcoming.  It offers high-end shopping, coffee shop/bar and a stunning arrivals hall with comfortable couches and an outdoor courtyard with a pool!  How much better can it be to wait for a flight?  Wildlife sightings are always a great possibility—it is in the Kruger Park. 

Aside from the magical African feel, they offer all the bare necessities of any commercial airport:  Car rental services and shuttle services, and facilities for chartered or private arrivals.
