Warn your guests about roadside corruption!

Roadside corruption has raised its ugly head again, particularly along the R40 outside Hazyview and near Acornhoek.  There have also been some reports from the Panorama Route but those culprits seemed to disappear when the community protested poor service delivery and blocked roads two weeks ago.   Over the past long weekend, numerous tourists were targeted just north of Hazyview with claims that they hadn’t stopped at a stop sign or crossed a solid white line.  In every instance, they demanded R2000 cash from the “victims”.   Please hand out the anti-corruption cards to all of your guests and clients. The cards work and they empower tourists to stand up to corrupt officers. Roadside anti-corruption cards can be obtained from KLCBT’s office at the Crossing Centre in Nelspruit. Please report all cases of corruption to website@krugerlowveld.com or cbharvie@gmail.com so that they can be added to the dossier and taken to the right people at national level if needed.
