Vaccinate! Get your passport and get SA open for Business!

We have seen recently that Australia opened  borders for outbound  travel sooner than       expected because of the high rate of vaccination take-up of their citizens.  The sooner we can reach our vaccination targets the sooner our tourism and economy can open to full capacity.  We do not only need tourism, but we need real events and normal restaurant trade, we need smaller borders open, normal school days, no masks, no lockdown…  Get vaccinated!

If you feel strongly that vaccination should be or should not be mandatory, you should have your say as government is considering mandatory vaccines and certificates for everyone.

Our government is considering mandatory vaccines and certificates (passports) for everyone. The SA Human Rights Commission has said; ““Given that the pandemic is an existential crisis that affects all human beings and implicates both rights and responsibilities, it is highly likely that a general law mandating vaccination will pass constitutional muster.”

Furthermore, the Department of Employment and Labour issued a directive which expressly permits an employer to implement a mandatory vaccination policy subject to certain guidelines.
