Tourism students available for internship

The Dept of Tourism in collaboration with Yes 4 Youth is implementing the Work Integrated Learning under the Learn and Earn Youth Placement Programme.  It is aimed at providing support in Tourism and Hospitality Management students from the TVET colleges who will be afforded an opportunity to obtain practical workplace experiences within the tourism industry for them to complete their qualifications.

This initiative will focus on fostering work-based experience and          exposure, professional development and skill enhancement through    placement opportunities.  The placement starts from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2027. I recommend that you enlist our professional HR support and induction services to make the most of your WIL student.  It costs R2 500 per    person for this incredible course which will teach the youth to have     Purpose, Vision and Passion, and by default have Energy!  They can also provide professional HR support for the duration of the internship so you do not have to struggle with attendance registers, log books, rotations, and weekly submissions—all of which is necessary for their certificate.  This also gives them access to a mentor at any time.  This costs R2500 per student p/m.
