Thank you to all who helped us during Mbombela Shut Down

It certainly were crazy times, helping members to   interpret ever changing loadshedding schedules, then going up to stage 6 and then the big shut down.  For this reason we apologise for no newsletter last week.  We were also stopped from coming to the office and then ordered to vacate the office twice.  Meanwhile our cell phones were ringing off the hook as were helping tourists stuck between somewhere and nowhere and trying to keep track with closures in order to coordinate information with the media and the JOC.  On that note, we would like to sincerely thank each and every     person in law enforcement who worked tirelessly   without sleep and even food, to keep us and our      visitors safe.  It was an impossible task and terribly unfair that you had to take it on without assistance from SANDF.  We can only hope that this lesson learnt will provide you with help sooner next time…

We would also like to end with a very special word of thanks for the tireless work of the media who kept us updated and our tourism industry operators who helped displaced tourists.         THANK YOU.
