Meteor Showers in November

Information provided by Tomjachu Bush Lodge:

Did you know that there are a couple of phenomenal meteor showers flashing through our galaxy in November? They are sporadic, but can be seen throughout the month.

The best dates to view these are as follows:
The Orionids run from 2nd Oct until the 7th Nov but peak around the 25th Oct
Southern Taurids peak around the 5th Nov (60% Waxing Moon so not ideal conditions)
The Leonids will peak around the 17th Nov (72% waning Moon but it will only rise about 11pm)
