Africa Day is a day celebrated annually throughout the Continent Africa by African people on the 25^th of May. Mbombela Africa Day Celebration Foundation is initiating an opportunity on this important day to be celebrated to promote Tourism, Heritage, Patriotism, Social Cohesion and provincial talent in the performing arts and crafts sector.

Mbombela Africa Day Celebration Foundation will therefore be hosting a multidiscipline event on the 30^th of May 2020 in celebration of Africa Day at the Mbombela stadium from 10:00am up until 23:59pm. Mbombela Africa Day Celebration Foundation endeavours to contribute positively to Tourism & the economy of the City of Mbombela and create community by mainly creating Jobs for the unemployed women and youth through exposure of Mpumalanga talent in the Tourism and performing arts and crafts sector on one stage all in one day.

The event will consist of African artist to celebrate Africa day within the Continent of Africa thereby creating an annual Tourist and corporate attraction for the City of Mbombela over the years & opening opportunities for the residence of the province.

The event will take place on field A (main field) and people will be seated on the north facing grandstands looking onto the stage constructed on the pitch.

The expected amount of people to attend the Mbombela Africa Day celebration cultural festival is estimated at 2000 people.
