Lowveld Big Change Top 25 start their AHI Entrepreneurs Training
The Lowveld Big Change was launched during September of 2015, as a combined project of Ettiene Pretorius, the KLCBT, Lowveld Media, and various other community based business organisations. The concept was to create a platform for potential or existing entrepreneurs to submit a short business plan / idea, after which a panel of judges selected the Top 25, Top 10 and Top 3.
The Top 3 were invited to the KLCBT Annual Awards in October, during which the winner, Phepsile Maseko, was announced!
Phepsile will enjoy 26 weeks of mentorship from 26 different well-established Lowveld business men and women. At the end of each week her lessons learnt will be published in the Lowvelder and Radio Laeveld. In doing so, the founders hope to spark a “Big Change” in the Lowveld, with more and more entrepreneurs finding the courage and skills to start or expand their business.
Later this year, Phepsile will enjoy her final prize, a trip to London to spend time with Virgin head office in London!
The AHI offered a 3-day entrepreneurs training programme to the top 25, which took place from Monday to Wednesday this week.
