Description of Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve
Sawubona and welcome to our 4,000 hectare game reserves in South Africa located in the Mpumalanga Province. Meaning “place of the rock” in the local Swazi tongue, Kwa Madwala lies on the southern side of Kruger National Park and in close proximity to Swaziland and Mozambique. There are 4 camps on the reserve namely Manyatta Rock Camp, Gazebo Game Lodge (currently undergoing renovations), Bush House for our Volunteer Gap and Leap students and Elephant Tented Camp which is a basic, rustic camp suited for school groups & teambuilding. While staying in the Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve you will be able to watch the sun rise over the Lebombo Mountains to the east and in the evenings marvel at the orange glow of the sun as it sets again in the west. Enjoy the bush views in every direction and just listen to the stillness of this wonderful African wilderness.
