The year 2025 has kicked off with a real bang!  We can see everybody and business is waking up from a post-Covid slumber.  A lot has changed and is changing in our world.  We need to fit into the global space from a Lowveld perspective and with our own unique Lowveld spin.  What are our unique selling points, how do we communicate in the new world, how will global politics and AI influence my business, how to manage risks better, etc. etc.

Lowveld Business Conference 21—22 May 2025

The conference will start at 10h00 on the 21st of May on the first day, followed by a gala dinner which will also be the inauguration ceremony of our newly elected KLCBT president.  The second day will start at 08h30 and carry on until lunch time.  This format will allow people from out of town to drive in on the first morning, stay over one night and drive back after the conference the second day.  It will also allow businesses to have some office time at their businesses for a couple of hours on each day.  This will allow small business owners to set the time aside to attend.

Inviting sponsors for topics and speakers

Every speaker will have 20 minutes for their specific topic on the programme.  A business can sponsor and suggest the topic for a fee of R8000 only.  This excludes any cost that is payable to the speaker.  The R8000 is a sponsorship towards the event.  Their will be 14 speakers over the space of the 2 days.

Inviting sponsors for ice breakers between the speakers

During the few minutes between the speakers, there is a five-minute slot which you can sponsor to   promote your business in a creative, funny or lively way.  Throw sweets, hand out drinks, have a lucky draw, make people do something, do a magic trick, anything you want.  This fabulous opportunity is available at a cost of R1500 per ice breaker, excluding the cost of any handouts or prizes.

Exhibition space at the conference

Businesses can book exhibition spaces at the conference.  The cost will also be R1500 for a 3×3 slot, including a tressle table and two chairs, with a plug-point included.  You can ask for more or less of the tables and chairs at no extra cost.

Early Bird bookings for the conference

You can book right now, early bird bookings for the conference is R799 per person.  Please reply by return email to rsvp with your name, company name and billing details.  This fee includes all coffee, tea, meals during the conference, as well as the cost of the gala dinner.

And then it is our Golf day on Friday 23rd May.
