KLCBT announces newly elected Business Chamber Management Committee
At their recent AGM held on 14 April 2016, the KLCBT members elected the Business Chamber Management Committee, which will take the reigns for the next term of two years.
This time, they voted for one representative for each of 10 categories, but all the other nominees will also serve as additional members.
KLCBT COO, Linda Grimbeek explains: “The increasing demand on the KLCBT to play a bigger and bigger advocacy role, requires more people to assist. For this reason we will gladly take all the people who are willing to serve, on board for the next term.”
At their first meeting, this new representative committee will elect a chairperson and two vice-chairpersons who will automatically sit on the KLCBT board, together with the chair and two vice-chairs of the regional tourism committee. 8 Additional, non-executive board members as well as the immediate past president, will comprise the rest of the board. We will report on this as the process unfolds.
