Join the Clean-up Campaign in Sabie this Friday
*EHLANZENI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY TO LAUNCH CLEAN UP AND POTHOLE PATCHING CAMPAIGN*.
*JOIN HANDS FOR A CLEANER AND SAFER SABIE TOWN*
Dear Residents, Stakeholders, and Business Partners.
The Ehlanzeni District Municipality is thrilled to announce a launch of a transformative initiative that will bring together the strength of community spirit and the power of collaboration to uplift our beloved Sabie Town. The Municipality, in partnership with Thaba Chweu local municipality, the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs, as well as UJ students, SAFCOL, KLCBT, Sabie Chamber of Commerce, and other esteemed organisations, is launching a comprehensive clean-up, pothole patching, and paving campaign.
This dynamic campaign is scheduled to commence on the 08th of September 2023, and it will be centered in the heart of the vibrant community—Sabie Town.

Location: Sabie (Thaba Chweu Local Municipality municipal building)
This endeavor will encompass a range of impactful activities:
*Clean-Up Drive*: Volunteers from all walks of life will come together to transform public spaces, streets, and communal areas. By uniting for this purpose, we aim to create a cleaner and more attractive living environment for all residents and a more welcoming destination for visitors.
*Pothole Patching* The municipality understands the importance of smooth and safe roadways. As a result, EDM has committed to patch potholes in key roadways to ensure the safety and convenience of our community members and tourists.
*Paving and Infrastructure Enhancement*: The focus will extend beyond mere repairs. The municipality is committed to enhancing key infrastructure projects, raising the overall quality of life for everyone at Sabie.
*Community Engagement*: As EDM, we firmly believe that community involvement is the cornerstone of success. This campaign is not just about physical improvements, it’s about fostering a strong sense of ownership and pride in Sabie.
