Hans Bornman to launch his new book

Kruger National Park Place Names, a reworked edition on this subject by local historian Hans Bornman, will be launched on Tuesday 27 June at the Anglers Club at Oewersig at the Marlins Pub & Grill.

All are welcome to attend this evening on the history and origin of the many names we know in the Kruger National Park organised by Mpumalanga Heritage. A short surprise audio-visual with information on the origin of the name Skukuza, never seen before, will also be included.

Starting at 18:00, the evening will include a talk by Bornman during a sit-down dinner of a proper winter curry meal specially prepared by chef Chris Naude of Marlins and Phat Boys in White River. This will be followed by a book signing by the author. The cost is R100 per person and a cash bar will be available. Books will be available at R350 per copy. Limited space is available. Do book well in advance with Lungile at KLCBT at 013 755 1988.
