Friends Café, a Gem of the Lowveld is located on the river bank with rocky outcrops and indigenous bush, the ideal setting to get away from it all. We are a mere 5 minutes away from the city and close to the old Nelspruit airport on route to Kaapsehoop.

Our restaurant café is the realisation of a dream for owners Alan and Lesley Taylor – 10 years in the planning! We opened our doors on 1 April 2019.

We are more than just a restaurant – we are a great outing and something different for the whole family. Child and pet friendly with Sam, the Golden Retriever as host.

Sit indoors and admire African artefacts collected over many years or at a table on the lawns under the trees. Our huge covered veranda overlooking the river is always popular with all our friends.

Our menu has a wonderful selection that will satisfy all. From healthy sensible eating, delicious freshly prepared specialties and indulgent treats and cakes. Taste sensations and favourites to be enjoyed time and time again.

Friends Café, aptly named for the friendly vibe, friendly guests and friendly staff. Arrive as a guest, return as a friend.

AT FRIENDS CAFÉ

There is so much to do at Friends Café. We are on the same property as the much loved Core 360 Fitness Centre, with Private Gym (Chaz & Gizelle Taylor and team), Massage Therapists, Yoga and Pilates.
