Centralising COVID T&Cs for Customers
You may not be able to do much to change the
moving target that are travel bans, quarantines and regulations. What you can
do is make it as easy as possible for your customers to find information about
your COVID T&Cs, considering that this has become a key consideration
before these clients commit to a booking.
SATSA has set up a centralised cloud-based spreadsheet with restricted editing
access allowing properties, attractions, etc., to submit their COVID T&Cs
for the viewing
of DMCs, whose customers require quick and easy access to their third-party
suppliers’ various COVID T&Cs.
The centralised resource is not there to provide a stipulation of what a
third-party suppliers’ COVID T&Cs should look like. It is also not a portal
for general T&Cs and cannot be edited by anyone other than the SATSA
secretariat.
- SUBMIT YOUR COVID T&Cs: Upload your COVID T&Cs to an online platform to generate a link and submit it along with your company name, contact person, contact email, website address, type of product, province and town here.
- VIEW COVID T&Cs: SATSA will upload the COVID T&Cs to the centralised cloud-based spreadsheet which can be accessed here.
We wish to confirm that SATSA’s role herein is
simply to provide a centralised platform where COVID T&Cs can be shared for
the ease of stakeholders. SATSA cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies
or the content shared by third parties that are included on the centralised
spreadsheet.
A further reminder that for accommodation establishments, Hospitality Solutions
has developed a web-based service providing a national database of
accommodation for isolation or quarantine facilities.
SATSA accommodation providers adhering to the full COVID protocols can list
their properties free of charge by clicking here and following the ‘List Your
Establishment’ link at the top of the page.
The portal provides availability for each lodging option and the establishment
is notified when an enquiry is received. The portal also provides a platform
for all communication between the establishment and client.
Kind regard,
Hannelie du Toit
