Blyde River Canyon’s Swadini Section to be closed for filming

Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) has announced that access to Swadini Section of Blyde River Canyon will be closed for filming of a television series.

Details as follows:

  • From 21 Oct – 3 Dec site establishment operations will be underway (No impact on visitor access). 
  • 4 – 26 Dec Unrestricted access
  • 27 Dec 2019 – 14 Feb 2020: No Access

Kindly note that other tourist attractions on the Panorama Route like God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Three Rondavels, Pinnacle, will not be affected by this closure.
