Adopt a traffic light if you are close to a busy intersection

During loadshedding or other power outages, it is an absolute nightmare driving along the R40, N4 and  other busy streets in Nelspruit and White River.  City of Mbombela agreed to the implementation of a      program whereby the shopping centres or businesses near busy intersections can adopt a traffic light in the sense that the       business will connect the traffic light onto their    generator / alternative supply.  When they use the generator, the traffic light will be automatically on generator / alternative power.  This will be a great service to the    community and we will do a great article and launch to show everybody how helpful you are.  This will obviously also draw clients to your centre who do not have to sit in traffic.  There are no complicated applications or anything like that.  You will provide the installation yourself, with your own electrician / engineer.  They will just arrange to be part of the team on the day of installation.  Another issue is the protection of the power boxes.  We require cameras that point onto the power boxes of the traffic lights, to catch vandals who damage the boxes on purpose.  If you want to join the               programme, please email to linda@klcbt.co.za.
