Update of Director Contact Details at CIPC

Information provided by Stabilis Inc:

Ensure that director contact details are still relevant at CIPC, before        attempting to submit changes to a company’s directors. 

If a director contact details are not up to date, a director amendment cannot be filed.

WHY NOT?

1. OTP Pins are sent to a director to confirm that he/she is aware of their appointment or resignation as a director on a company;

2. OTP Pin is required for such an amendment to be processed        successfully;

3. Only ONE OTP is required:  Either the SMS pin or the e-mail pin;

4. If BOTH, cell phone and email address, is not accessible anymore by the particular director, an OTP Pin cannot be received;

5. Changes can therefore not be authorized.

Contact your Accounting Officers to first check if the correct contact details are listed at CIPC, before commencing with a Director Amendment on your company.
