In 2012 TwoRedPens raked in the coveted 2012 HTS Business Support (Pty) Ltd/ KLCBT Entrepreneur Award at a prestigious gala event held locally that same year. Alison, in turn, went on to represent the province as the Mpumalanga Finalist for the South African Business Woman of the Year 2013 Competition, hosted by the South African Council for Business Women.
