SA Tourism gives update on Travel Indaba 2026

SA Tourism has shared a progress update on preparations for Africa’s  Travel Indaba 2026.  Many industry members were concerned about timing issues in terms of this show and are re-considering their participation as a result.  For this reason, we thought it valuable to share the progress report to provide some comfort about the success off the show.

Synergy Business Events has been appointed again (an old hand as the show’s organiser).  SA Tourism has also confirmed encouraging early    market interest with 528 qualified hosted and non-hosted buyers already confirmed from 34 countries, alongside 479 exhibitor applications received as of 26 March 2026.  These developments are a positive step as the     industry continues to prepare for one of the continent’s most important    tourism trade platforms.  Meanwhile, we are off to WTM Africa next week!
