Promoting Kruger Lowveld to the international Travel Trade

Kruger Lowveld was invited to attend an event that promoted tourism relations between India and South Africa and was attended by South Africa Government delegates, tour operators, travel agencies and the media.

Under the auspices of Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, Kruger Lowveld Ehlanzeni attended World Travel Market Africa 2021 which was held virtually. Over two hundred show attendees and almost three hundred exhibitors converged online over the three days for the opportunity to network and attend informative and relevant sessions from industry leaders about travel trends and innovation. As one of the leading business to business (B2B) exhibitions, WTM Africa 2021 presented and opportunity to meet with travel professionals to make new contacts. It also presented the opportunity to respond to questions on the current status of hospitality and tourism in South Africa and the response of the sector and government to Covid19. One thing that was clear was that clients that are experiencing travel restrictions in their respective countries are yearning to travel again. Once able to do so, we should be ready to make their stay to the Kruger Lowveld region an undeniably unforgettable experience.
