LSSC was created in November 1987 with 12 members, and has since grown to a membership of approximately 60 members, which include paragliders from Maputo in Mozambique.

LSSC offers paragliding at more than 6 of the most beautiful flying sites in South Africa that includes God’s Window, Mount Carmel, Barberton, Long Tom Pass, Sabi and Ngodwana. Trips to beautiful virgin beach flying sites in Mozambique are also regularly held. Anybody that is interested to fly at any of our sites are welcome to contact any of the members who will be able to advise on when and where this fun loving crowd enters the sky.
