KLCBT’s new board confirmed

The election process of the next term of service in the KLCBT is almost completed. Following yesterday’s meetings by the new management committees, the leadership for both committees and the KLCBT board is confirmed.

The board members for 2016—2018 will be:

Norah Fakude (Immediate past president), TJ Mare (KLCBT Business Chair), JV Davies (Kruger Lowveld Tourism Chair), Lisa Sheard (Executive Director—Tourism), Phakama Maimela and Carel van Wyk (Vice-chairs KLCBT Business), Ettiene Soine (vice-chair Kruger Lowveld Tourism), Nico Oosthuizen, Anne Briggs, Sandra Jacobs and Oupa Pilane (Non-Executive Directors—Tourism), Nick Elliot, Johan Barnard, Helen Thrush, SW Engelbrecht (Non-Executive Directors—Business).

KLCBT congratulates them, and welcomes the two new board members, SW Engelbrecht and Oupa Pilane. We also wish to extend a special word of thanks to the two outgoing directors, who resigned after more than 10 years of service, James Aling and Naeem Omar.

The last step in the process will be the election of the new president which will take place at the first board meeting.
