Hoërskool Bergvlam is a double medium school with close to a 1 000 learners and 50 educators and is the only high school in Nelspruit offering an academic and technical field of study to learners.

Hoërskool Bergvlam is a school with an academic adeptness striving towards excellence since 1975.    Our matric results are a clear indication of our dedication and effective teaching methods with pass rates of 99.5%, 99.4% and 100% consecutively.  Hoërskool Bergvlam is one of the top performing schools in the district.

Learners are guided by passionate and well qualified teachers to reach their potential.  We develop well-rounded individuals in a disciplined environment where effort, participation and excellence are honoured.   – Burn with Pride
