Eskom Electricity Tariff Increase

Starting from 1 April 2025, Eskom has implemented the annual tariff increase for clients billed directly through Eskom.  Direct customers will see a 12,74% increase on their next bill.  For those who are billed by the municipality, the increase will only take effect as of the 1st July 2025. The municipal increase could vary from municipality to municipality.  They also will increase most other tariffs at the same time.  Municipal budgets are only approved at the end of May when we will know for certain what tariffs will apply from 1 July 2025.
