Comments invited on Draft Off Campus Student Accommodation Policy

City of Mbombela is seeking public comment on this draft policy.

Residents of Nelspruit and Barberton, in particular, has reported many incidents of badly run establishments and where there are clearly too many students living in one house. This causes a lot of noise disturbances and extra traffic. This is your chance to have your say.

Copies of the Draft Student Accommodation Policy will lie open for inspection during normal office hours for 30 days until 7 November 2019 at the City Planning Department, Spatial Planning and GIS unit at Civic Centre, Mbombela. Copies of the policy will also be available at reception of the Mbombela regional offices in the various administrative regions. It is also available on the following web address: http://www.mbombela.gov.za/

Any comment / representation / objection in respect of the policy, may be submitted in writing for the attention of Mr B Ntuli and Z Mamali by hand or registered mail (PO Box 45, Mbombela, 1200) or by email (bongi.ntuli@mbombela.gov.za and zwotea.mamali@mbombela.gov.za before 7 November 2019.
