ATTEND A KLCBT NETWORKING EVENT
Why is it recommended as an effective marketing opportunity?
It is a proven fact that growing a successful business in the Lowveld, requires personal contact! No amount of advertising or cold calling can replace the personal contacts you build up during any kind of networking.
For this reason the KLCBT’s networking breakfasts and speed networking cocktail evenings have become immensely popular. We hosted 20 during the last financial year!
It does not matter how many times you attend or if you meet the same people twice or more – you always have a new product / service or some exciting news about your business to share (well…you should have).
Cost of attending:
Networking Breakfasts start at 07h30 to about 09h30 and costs the same amount the KLCBT will pay for the catering per person, usually about R120 – R150 per person – non-members will pay slightly more.
Speed Networking Cocktail evenings start at 17h30 to about 19h00 and costs the same amount the KLCBT will pay for the catering per person, usually about R100 – R150 per person – non-members will pay slightly more.
Format of the event:
The KLCBT will do a short welcome of about 5 minutes.
The sponsor will make a presentation of 10 – 15 minutes at a cocktail event or 30 – 35 minutes at a breakfast event.
Networking will commence spontaneously during the breakfast while everybody enjoys their meal.
Speed networking at the cocktail events is by means of 5 rotations, coordinated in a hilarious and fun-filled manner – it is increasingly popular and highly effective because you will meet the maximum amount of people.
When are they taking place and how to book:
Members will received advertisements by e-mail before an event, otherwise the information is available on the KLCBT events calendar on the Home Page – click on “Business Events” to see events happening in the future. Booking details and cost will appear on the invitation for each event.
