Additional Tourism Safety Upgrades & Patrols

The KLCBT’s Integrated Security Programme is constantly expanding and enhancing its operational capacity to keep our tourists safe.  With the         assistance of additional donors we are able to upgrade various number plate recognition cameras around the Hazyview area, and added additional       cameras on the Kruger Gate road.  We have also procured smart radios for our operational and investigations team.

SAPS motor bike unit will patrol the major tourism routes during the upcoming school holidays, we are requesting camping facilities / youth hostel             accommodation for 8 people.  Please let me know if you can assist. This has to be around Hazyview / Swadini from 23 September to 6 October.  The team is led by Capt Pottie Potgieter and we are really grateful that they take this initiative every holiday, please let us do our part to make room for them.

We are also in need of more funding for our security programme, to enhance some of the functions which are critical to our success story.  We can all agree that we have been able to restore and maintain tourism safety in the region.  Please can we make a presentation to your business to get a monthly pledge to add this very crucial bit.  Do not sit on the sidelines and assume someone else will do it.  This region belongs to all of us and this programme makes tourists, couriers, delivery trucks, and everybody else travel safely.             Every bit helps.  Contact Linda directly for this.
