Just 1 More Cast Cottages offers a high standard of quality self catering accommodation in the quaint historical village of Machadodorp.
Situated next to the Machadodorp Fly Fishing Park in prime position in the village, the cottages are only a short walk from the shops.
We have 7 cottages available which are fully equipped with bedding and towels, as well as fully equipped kitchens. Each cottage has its own character, with appropriate decor to suite the theme of the cottage. Each also has a separate garden and braai area, its own outside furniture and sun umbrella, and is stocked with books, board games, garden games, and a TV and home theatre system. 3 lockup garages are available at the cottages, and the property is extremely secure with surround palisade fencing and lock up gates. All cottages are equipped with ceiling fans for Summer and electric blankets for Winter.
We are a 3 Star Exclusive Self Catering Accommodation graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
Duckworth’s Dargle Delight Cottage is a quaint thatched 3 rondavel cottage which sleeps 6 in 2 double bedrooms and a double loft room. There are 2 bathrooms, an extra bedsettee in the study, a diningroom and livingroom with log fire place.
- Wickham’s Fancy Cottage sleeps 4 in a spaceous family bed-sitting room with king size bed / 2 single beds and bunk beds. It has a full kitchen with breakfast bar and a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin. It is very cosy with a log fire for the cold winter nights.
- Blue Dunn Cottage sleeps 2 in a bed-sitting-dining room with king size bed / 2 single beds. Lounge dining area is furnished with quality cane furniture, sideboard and 6 seater dining table. It has a full kitchen and shower room with toilet and wash hand basin. It has a large oil filled heater for the cold winter nights.
- Cat’s Whisker Cottage has wheel chair friendly facilities and sleeps 2 in a bed-sitting room with king size bed / 2 single beds and bunk beds. It has a full kitchen and shower room with toilet and wash hand basin. It is very cosy with a log fire for the cold winter nights.
