Mbombela open to down-payment arrangement of accounts in arrears

It has come to our attention that many businesses, particularly accommodation establishments have    received final notices and was on the verge of having services cut of as a result of accounts in arrears after the Covid-19 situation.  We had a discussion with the colleagues there and it was agreed that they will take applications for down-payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis.  Please avoid being cut off—rather make an appointment with the Manager of    collections, Mr Phumula Mathebula.  E-mail the      request to phumulam@mbombela.gov.za or whatsapp to 082 825 1283.  The application should be           accompanied by your submission of why you need an arrangement, how you plan to pay off and over which period, bearing in mind that any default on this           arrangement will result on immediate suspension of services.
