Cross border traffic resumes “cautiously”

According to visitors from Mozambique who crossed the border since opening on 1 October, it is less trouble than anticipated, but still very cumbersome to cross the border.  On arrival, travelers will be required to present a negative Covid-19 test results not older than 72 hours from time of departure, otherwise they will be required to remain in mandatory quarantine at their own cost for 10 days.  All travelers are subjected to screening by the Officials upon arrival and departure and travelers with symptoms will be required to remain in quarantine until a repeat Covid-19 test is conducted at their own costs.  All travelers to complete Traveler Health Questionnaire prior to arrival or upon arrival at the Port of Entry.  All travelers should wear masks and adhere to social distance.  Meanwhile, the shuttle services between Maputo and Nelspruit have resumed, but not as a daily service yet, until there is a higher demand.  Bookings / enquires can be made at our offices at Crossing Centre, 013 755 1988
