Purchase a print of the Seven Magnificent Tuskers of the Kruger National Park by Vanessa LomasAuthor: KLCBT | Published by KLCBT on 23 November 2017 at 09:07:32 | Last Updated On: 23 November 2017
We are very excited to invite all our members to join us and the Good Neighbour Foundation (GNF) in a national campaign to fight poaching (particularly rhino and elephant poaching) in the Kruger National Park.
The project is a joint effort by Chambers of Commerce near the Kruger National Park and communities along the periphery of the Park and offers each and every member the opportunity to purchase a very beautiful and unique limited and numbered print of the Seven Magnificent Tuskers of the Kruger National Park drawn by well-known Hoedspruit wildlife artist Vanessa Lomas.
The prints are A1 in size and the names and short description of each of the seven elephants appear at the bottom of the artwork.
The prints will first be made available to members of Chambers before they are distributed to selected shops in the Kruger Park and other upmarket curios outlets. Members may also purchase the prints at R900 while they will retail at R1 500 each in shops nationally.
The GNF fights poaching through the upliftment of impoverished, jobless people in communities bordering the Kruger park. These are the people who are targeted to be used as foot poachers inside the Park. Projects include the building of a craft centre, drilling and equipping of boreholes, ABET training and bursaries for suitable candidates to be trained as rangers and guides at the Orphan Wildlife College.
This is a very worthwhile project and certainly worth everybody’s support. The prints are very impressive and will add massive value to boardrooms, lapas, offices and are ideal Christmas and corporate gifts.
