Kruger Lowveld markets the region at the Getaway Show
Kruger Lowveld Tourism once again participated in the ever popular Gauteng Getaway Show, which was held at the TicketPro Dome from 14 to 16 September. Last year saw just over 19 000 visitors and according to Noleen and Owen, who represented Kruger Lowveld, this year’s visitor numbers grew considerably. The Gauteng Getaway Show is an outdoor and travel consumer show, where Kruger Lowveld invited activity products to come on board to showcase the amazing adventure activities on offer in our region. These included The Lowveld National Botanical Garden, Skyway Trails, Graskop Gorge Lift Company, Hylton Ross, Elephant Whispers, Kruger National Park and Long Tom Toboggan. These were all well received, with visitors flocking to the stand to learn more about them and to stand a chance of winning one of four adventure-filled holidays with vouchers courtesy of the activities and accommodation, sponsored by Hippo Hollow, Premier Hotel The Winkler, Mbombela Exclusive Guesthouse and Kruger National Park. One thing is certain, the Kruger Lowveld remains a firm favorite!

Prize sponsorship in exchange for live read on Rise FM
RISE FM is requesting sponsorships of accommodation and activities that it can package into three Kruger Lowveld getaway prizes, each for two people, for its Johannesburg advertising agency roadshow. The radio station will visit three advertising agencies in Johannesburg, to promote the station and the province, in September and would like to offer a ‘Kruger Lowveld’ getaway prize to each agency. In exchange, RISE FM will offer the sponsors a ‘live read’ on air campaign, to the value of three times that of the prize. Please contact Linda Grimbeek for more information.
