The Kruger Lowveld Ehlanzeni Business Alliance concluded their Winter Conference on a high note this week, after a full day of lively discussions and adding 9 new chambers to the Alliance, including a number of upcoming chambers. The Alliance now represents 19 chambers within the Ehlanzeni District and carries a strong vote of support from AHI and SACCI.

The Alliance was formed in 2015 with the aim for chambers to speak as one big voice for business and tourism when engaging on a district and provincial level. While it is not a new entity or chamber, the chambers agreed to strengthen the collective, identify the most important focus areas, to jointly find solutions, to combine talents, expertise and resources and share best practices. The emerging chambers greatly benefit from the support and experience of the other members.

Most of the day was spent in discussions about Relationship with Government / Service Delivery; Safety & Security; Anti-Corruption & Integrity; Regional Bulk Water Supply; Roads; Public Attractions & Pilgrim’s Rest and the “Buy Local” initiatives.

Several press releases will follow about the outcomes of each of these topics.
